The Software group is looking for a C++ Softwae Development Engineer who is highly motivated, results-driven, and passionate about technologies to join our growing team to change the way the world interacts with security screening systems.

• Develop C++ based middleware for ScanOS
• Add support for new X-Ray scanners and supporting HW into ScanOS
• Create interface for and support the integration of threat detection algorithms into ScanOS
• Perform code reviews of other team memers code to maintain the quality of ScanOS
• Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct
• It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
• Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

• BSC Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Min 5 years of experience
• Excellent teamworking and communication skills
• Knowledge of programming languages, C++ & Python
• Awareness of modern C++ patterns and best practices
• Knowledge of Operating Systems, Ubuntu
• Knowledge of intersystem communication architectures, network and local
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
